Dr. Gadi Avshalamov

Decades of Compassionate Care in Allergy and Immunology

Dr. Gadi Avshalomov is a board-certified allergist and immunologist, as well as a diplomate of both the American Board of Allergy and Immunology and the American Board of Pediatrics. He is affiliated with North Shore–Long Island Jewish Health System and Cohen Children's Medical Center, and is an active member of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology.

With over a decade of experience serving communities across the North Shore of Long Island and Brooklyn, Dr. Avshalomov is dedicated to the care of both adults and children suffering from a wide range of allergic and immunologic conditions. His clinical expertise includes the diagnosis and treatment of seasonal allergies, asthma, eczema, sinusitis, immunodeficiency, and chronic respiratory conditions like bronchitis, wheezing, and persistent cough.

Dr. Avshalomov earned his medical degree from Tel Aviv University's Sackler School of Medicine after completing his undergraduate studies at New York University. He offers personalized, evidence-based treatment plans—ranging from custom-formulated allergy immunotherapy (allergy shots) to advanced therapies like intravenous (IVIG) and subcutaneous (SCIG) immunoglobulin treatments.

Specializing in hay fever, food allergies, pet allergies, and atopic dermatitis, Dr. Avshalomov uses the highest standards in diagnostic testing to identify triggers such as pollen, dust mites, and mold—ensuring accurate diagnosis and long-lasting relief.
